Challenges Series: Disruption

Disruption,” developed by LLYC’s Center for Leadership through Knowledge, is the latest installment of the Challenges Series, coming third after “Citizenship” and “Radical Transparency.” This new book is available in print in Spanish, or in a digital format in all the company’s languages (Spanish, English, Portuguese and Brazilian Portuguese).

In the coming months, IDEAS LLYC will present the book in our offices in Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the United States.

The first presentation, taking place at the LLYC offices in Madrid on Feb. 6, 2020, will be accompanied by Ramon Freixa, author of the epilogue and chef with 2 Michelin stars and 3 Repsol Soles; Cristina Aranda, cofounder of Mujeres Tech and Business Development at Taiger Europe; and Javier Jimenez, managing director of Lanzadera.

Disruption” is a compilation of articles and reports written by LLYC’s most senior professionals throughout 2019. Each one analyzes one of the challenges disruption represents to our changing world, also examining how we can better anticipate and respond to these obstacles.

As LLYC Partner and Founder Jose Antonio Llorente states in the book’s prologue, “He who communicates well, triumphs. He who stays halfway, fails. In a world as unstable, demanding and innovative as the next, the priority is to not stay still. In the midst of the digital transformation, anchoring oneself to analogical, repetitive, vertical, fragmentary or monochord communication is condemned to failure. Communication channels have changed. Disruption has become more necessary today than ever.”
