Panama: President Juan Carlos Varela. Two years in office

The administration of President Juan Carlos Varela has reached its second anniversary in July. During this period, the President has had to keep pace of the execution of the projects undertaken by the previous government, address the public deficit, implement public policies that are oriented towards social development and maintain the high approval rate levels, between many others.

Faced with a highly changing scenario and in midst a drop of the approval rates, the President is going through a critical phase in which he will have to issue properly in order to meet the country’s critical circumstances.
