Peru: seven measures to promote investments. From polarization to tense calm?

This article analyzes the marked polarization that characterizes the Peruvian society and the conflicting positions between business interests and the fears of becoming a very statist nation; as well as the isolated and aloof position of the Government in relation to other socio-economic players. In this context, political movements are particularly important due to the huge impact they have on the decisions related to the public and regulatory policies and investments.

In this sense, the Government has already shown a much more committed attitude by launching measures to reassure and boost the confidence of the business community and citizens.
